What do you need to build your Mhackintosh?
July 17th, 2009
To build a Mhacintosh, you will need:
- a PC, home built or not
- a Distro of osx86
- a lot of time and patience
It’s short but the last bullet is more a warning about the time you may spend finding software, drivers, or hardware part that is compatible with the distro you choose!!!
The Distros is not so hard to choose, many are good, some are great, and I didn’t know any that I will discard for me, so it’s not really an issue actually. More a question of habit or hardware support out-of-the-box!
I will talk about the PC part this week-end, this choice is the most strategic one, it may make you change your choice of Distros, or may disable you to have a running Mhackintosh if not carefully choosen!

what do u think about the iATKOS 10.5.7?
It’s a good distribution that I tried on my ACER. Anyway the major distributions are really great at this time!
Hi iAPX,
I was wondering which distro and drivers you used to installed OS X on your Acer 5620, if you could shot me an email, it would be greatly appreciated, in return I will post the info on public forums so the information is shared with the entire community.
Thanks,
Pat F
