TimeCapsule unreliable…

March 15th, 2010 iAPX

I own a TimeCapsule since one month, the actual generation with 1TB hard-drive, connected to my Cable connection, and wirelessly to a lot of things:  my PowerBook 15″, my love’s MacBook Air, my MacBook pro 17″, our iPhone (3G and 3G S), it’s iPod Touch, our Wii, 3 Airport Express (music!) and my old Airport Extrem (for the PC/Hackintosh and to share a Printer). Real network!

Each week, I have to unplug it to reset it totally. Symptoms may change, this morning it was my Hackintosh unable to connect to internet (albeit other could!), usually it,s my MacBook Pro 17″ that could no more backup (and Internet still working!).

So I plan to reset it each week on a regular basis, but it’s troublesome to have a wifi router (and backup server!) so unreliable on the long-run!
