iPad Developer!
I am a developer, working on different projects for iPad and iPhone, mainly chess-related.
It took me sometimes to find an iPad on Montréal, they are expensive, since Apple decided to post-pone world launch, even in North America! But it’s done and this gadget seems impressive. I have to explore it’s possibilities, but at first sight, screen is gorgeous, it’s finish is on the pro side of Apple (not on the iPhone side!), reactive, efficient, and multitouch is just incredibly efficient!
But there’s one thing you should know about an iPad, one thing that really matter: you should play Apple’s game. It’s more important than on iPhone because of the number of use an iPad have, the computer-centric applications that are available.
So you’d better play with iPhoto if you want to have pictures in it, iTunes for music and videos, and so on. Don’t do as I did, playing sideway using other tools, at any time you will have to use iLife completely to have your photo music and videos on iPad. I don’t like it, but it’s a price to pay to have the best and more efficient computer I have ever had!
